Young People’s Co-ordinator

Our client is currently seeking a Young People’s Co-ordinator to join their team on a part-time basis, working 22.2 hours per week, for a maternity cover contract from June 2024 until March 2025.

The Role
As a Young People’s Co-ordinator, you will deliver our client’s service across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.
Delivering activities that promote national and local public health priorities to young people aged 11-19 (up to 25 for young disabled people and those with a special education need), you will encourage healthier eating, physical activity, oral health and emotional wellbeing
You will plan, deliver and evaluate our client’s free health promotion clubs, align with services that promote similar messages, and promote a whole systems approach to reduce health inequalities. You will be responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the people their service supports.

About You

To be considered as a Young People’s Co-ordinator, you will need:
- Experience of working with young people
- Experience of planning group work, including completing risk assessments, evaluating and evidencing progress from group work
- Experience in responding to safeguarding risks
- At a minimum, an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
Appointments are subject to our client receiving a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service that they consider acceptable.
