Due to expansion of our services we are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join us as a Young Person's Outreach Support Worker across Port Talbot and Bridgend. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with our Case Managers (Support Officers) to provide essential support and guidance to the young people we support.
Your Mission will be to:-
· Deliver trauma-informed, outcome-focussed support and guidance.
· Create a safe and secure environment for the young people accommodated within Dewis.
· Forge strong, trusting relationships with our young people.
· Foster independent living skills and tenancy management.
· Promote active participation within our service and the community.
What you’ll do as an Outreach Support Worker
You will be the backbone of our outreach efforts. Expect some occasional weekend and evening work and to step in to cover when needed, ensuring you’re there when our young people need you the most, and support our On-Call Team as required.
