South Tyneside Council’s Youth Service are looking to recruit a suitably motivated, qualified and experienced individual to provide a range of informal positive activities as part of the Youth Service’s Youth Offer. These may include for example – Open access youth projects, youth participation provision, targeted youth support, detached and outreach youth work, sport and leisure-based activities, cultural and drama activities, residential trips, holiday programmes, volunteering, social action programmes and many more.
The successful candidate will need to operate flexibly and responsively in order to meet the needs and demands of young people in South Tyneside in order to improve outcomes. This will include evening, weekend and school holiday working.
You will become an integral part of the Youth Service and assist in the delivery of its key priorities.
