At a time where inflation is at an all time high and finances are a struggle, we can offer you a job where we not only offer the best possible pay but can provide a non-exhaustive list of benefits ranging from private health care to financial savings and rewards. Let us look after you as you look after them! Are you the inspiration for the future? Can you make a difference at a crucial part of someone’s life? As a service it is our primary goal to inspire the young people we support as we believe that all people have the potential to achieve great things. We want to talk to people who have a passion for being a key role in making a difference in a person’s life, supporting them on that journey and watching them grow as individuals. Be part of a company who recognises need to support you to your best possible life whilst working alongside our young people to support and encourage them so they can also have their best possible life too! During a time where households are struggling to financially survive, we as a company recognise that you need more, and we work relentlessly to ensure that at a time when life costs more we help to close that gap.

Want to make a difference to a Young Person?
Want a flexible career?
Want to earn on a scale from £22 - £40K per annum?

At a time where cost of living is on the up and finances stretched, we can offer an opportunity for you to earn between £22,000 - £40,000 per annum.

We support Young People who are Care Leavers, if you have a nurturing approach, you are reliable and willing to share your experiences whilst providing a resilient approach to Young People who haven’t had the best of start in life, we would love to hear from you to give you the opportunity to instil your invaluable wisdom.

We are looking for team members to support us in providing positive opportunities for Care Leavers as they start their journey into adulthood. As a company we don’t just offer positive financial remuneration we offer training, certified qualifications, employee benefits schemes and generous annual leave entitlement (to name a few)..

As the numbers of Young People leaving the care system increases, we want to make sure that our delivery provides the very best opportunities for Young People. You will work with an established company who have been operating for over 13 years with an evolving attitude to social and environmental pressures.

We offer a diverse range of placements supporting young people in their own homes. Some may live alone, some with families, some are struggling families who need that helping hand to guide and encourage them. Many of our young people will need you to make them feel safe in their own homes during times where they are feeling isolated, alone, and scared. This role is not office based; you will be out in the community.

This role includes supporting young people at their most vulnerable and lonesome times during the night, on a rota which differs week to week to accommodate new young people in their journey. The position includes weekends as well as weekdays and evenings to ensure the young people have consistency during their most lonely times of the day. Specific requirements can be discussed at interview stage.

Our role is to prepare the young people for life after care, ensuring they have all the necessary skills and knowledge to live independently and flourish in their adult lives. It is also our role to safeguard them whilst they are in our service, dealing with a manner of risks and challenging behaviour naturally associated with young people who have often suffered trauma and loss in early years. (all training will be provided to handle situations).

We achieve the above by building relationships with our young people and working in a person-centred way to suit their specific needs and abilities. You have these skills but just don’t realise it!

The role of a Support Worker includes but not be limited to:

· Supporting young people with daily living tasks which can include: budgeting, cooking, shopping, meal planning, transport, education and financial appointments.

· Supporting young people to re-join the education system or take the first steps on their journey to employment.

· Finding a way that to communicate that works for both you and the young person you're working with is of the utmost importance. This will help to build a stable relationship.

· Following support plans to help young people to reach their goals.

The ideal candidate for this role will be motivated, able to follow direction from colleagues and external professionals. They must possess the skills to engage and build relationships with young people who at times, can initially be closed off and resistant to new people.

We want the skills you possess and don’t even realise are skills! Day to day tasks you do without a second thought, such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and listening – get paid whilst shaping the future.

An understanding and experience of behaviours and strategies that can be used to support emotional needs during difficult periods.
