SalaryYouth Worker – Nature Ranger
- Based at The Hut - Preston Road
- Salary SCP 18 - 21 (£12.51 - £13.96 per/hr. depending on experience)
- Full Time - 37 hours per week for 1 Year (years 2 & 3 are subject to funding but will be a minimum of 16 hours per week)
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team here at Child Dynamix. Based at our youth facility site on Preston Road, supported by our Lead Nature Ranger, you will plan and deliver a recurring 12-week nature-based program designed to support 8 – 13-year-olds with environmental and nature focused activities, overseeing all aspects of delivery whilst also becoming the charities Blue Mentor and leading our Blue Influencer project. We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and young people, highly motivated and professional.
Requirements and responsibilities for this post:
- You must be qualified to a min level 2 in Youth & Community work or related discipline
- Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children in a youth work setting
- Demonstrate good knowledge of environmental/conservation issues
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection
