What will the role look like?
This role will help support the ongoing mental health needs of young people transitioning into adulthood, in particular those who are to be discharged from CAMHS services, through the delivery of creative workshops within the South and West of Leeds.
The post-holder will be part of a larger joint project which aims to foster a sense of community, understanding, and belonging among participants by incorporating tailored creative engagement, emphasising peer support dynamics, building a broader social network, and fostering community connections.
The role will involve planning and delivering groups, activities The role will require specific skills around organisation, creativity and building positive relationships with young people.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with a Youth Work or Counselling qualification that has experience of developing and delivering group interventions.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of neurodivergence and the particular impacts on young people and someone that has the ability to build trust and positive relationships.
