The Opportunity:
The School of GeoSciences is recruiting a University Teacher in Hydrogeology on a 1year fixed term contract. Teaching will primarily be focussed around the highly regarded Applied Environmental Hydrogeology MSc course, and there will be opportunities to gain experience in the leadership and administration of teaching. The post contains a research element, and the successful candidate will be supported in pursuing professional development opportunities.
This post is on campus, full-time (35 hours per week) however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working
Your skills and attributes for success:
-Knowledge and research experience in applied geoscience, particularly hydrogeology, with a good publication record
-Experience of teaching at the University level
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-A team player with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
