Teaching assistant vacancy
The Bellbird Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
1:1 Teaching Assistant for a named child with medical needs in lower key stage two
This is a part time position Monday to Friday, 8.45am until 1.15pm, term time only to start as soon as possible. This position is a job share and so the hours are fixed. The pupil has a rare neurological condition that affects the spinal cord and impacts on mobility and respiratory function. All appropriate training to support the medical needs of this pupil will be provided with ongoing support from the medical team.
We believe that learning is for all of our school community, we work together to constantly review our provision to meet pupil needs. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of development and who is committed to their own lifelong learning as well as children’s.
The Bellbird Primary School is a Local Authority maintained school with two-form entry. We have a large school site with numerous outdoor learning spaces.
