Role:1st Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based
Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent
Salary: £22,152- £23,500 dependent on experience
What will my role look like?
Our IT Department is expanding and we have an opportunity available for an 1st Line IT Support Engineer! In this role you will be be the first point of contact for IT support for our Head Office and sites.
You will be responsible for logging, resolving and escalating support requests made via our ticketing system and answering / resolving phone calls made to the helpdesk. This is a telephone-based role that requires a high level of care and attention to detail.
What would my main responsibilities be?
Providing user support via the phone & our ticketing system
Configuring & building hardware
Creating & troubleshooting of user profiles & mailboxes
Diagnosis & resolution of a wide range of hardware issues such as routers, switches, access points, PCs, laptops, printers, VoIP telephony
Escalating issues that cannot be resolved at entry level

Candidate Requirements
Knowledge/experience of: AD, Windows, Office, Exchange
