1St Line Operational Risk Analyst

Global Asset Management Firm in London are looking for an Interim 1st Line Operational Risk Analyst for a 6 month contract. The role will focus on reporting and maintenance of the firm's risk and control framework.

Please note this role is inside IR35 and is a hybrid role (2 - 3 days in the office).

THE ROLE

The Operational Risk Analyst will be responsible for:

• Will be focusing on 1st Line Operational Risk
• Performing risk assessments on business processes and key controls to mitigate all risks identified.
• Ensure appropriate documentation of incidents and associated actions in the risk system.
• Ensuring risk mitigation measures and risk indicators are in place for all risks identified.
• Assist on advising new controls and procedures to the business.
• Help to deliver clear risk reports for both operational and technology risk matters to the board.
• Ensure actions raised are tracked and completed off the back of internal and external audits and incidents.
• Assist on Operational Risk activities including business continuity.
• Work with project teams to provide oversight on risks.

YOU

The ideal Operational Risk Analyst will have prior experience of:

• Have worked previously in an Operational Risk role in a Buy side organisation.
• Have experience of 1st Line Operational Risk
• Experience of using a Governance, Risk and Control system such as Archer.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Have worked closely with senior stakeholders to communicate risk.
• Have good attention to detail.
