Job Description
Who are we: Everton Football Club is one of world sport's most respected and revered names - a by-word for innovation and professionalism during the course of a glittering history that spans three centuries.
One of the 12 founder members of the Football League, Everton has played more games in English football's top flight than any other club.
While rightly proud of our rich past, and Goodison Park, our home of more than 130 years, we are now setting our sights on an exciting future at a state-of-the-art new stadium currently being constructed on the banks of the iconic River Mersey.
In doing so, we remain committed to developing and supporting teams across our men’s, women’s and Academy set-ups that inspire and compete at the highest level of the game.

Our values underpin how we behave, how we represent our club in our city and across the world of football, and how we look after one another and our community. They provide a framework for how we work and engage with partners, suppliers and, most importantly, our fans.

About the opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT professional to join our innovative and forward-thinking Technology department here at Everton Football Club.

  • Software Installation and Updates:
  • Installing, configuring, and updating software applications on user devices.
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
  • Hardware Support:
  • Providing basic hardware support, such as troubleshooting computer peripherals.
  • Coordinating with third parties for hardware repairs or replacements.
  • Network Connectivity:
  • Assisting users with network connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshooting basic network problems, such as connectivity and access.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of common issues and solutions.
  • Creating user guides or knowledge base articles for common problems.
  • Training and Education:
  • Conducting basic user training on software and hardware usage.
  • Educating users about IT policies and best practices.
  • Remote Assistance:
  • Providing remote support to users, especially in a distributed or remote work environment.
  • Utilising remote desktop tools for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Escalation:
  • Escalating more complex issues to higher-tier support teams when necessary.
  • Collaborating with other IT personnel to resolve challenging problems.
  • Customer Service:
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Keeping users informed about the status of their support requests.
