A great opportunity joining a global organisation that is a leader in their market. Due to growth, they are looking for a knowledgeable 2nd Line Engineer to join their team.
ROLE
- Provide 2nd Line support and resolve issues
- Point of escalation for 1st line team
- Troubleshoot software, hardware and network issues
- Log issues on the ticketing system
- Collaborate with the team to resolve issues within agreed SLAs
- Update and maintain the documentation
- Carry out projects and upgrades
- Provide end user training and support
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a 2nd Line role
- Proven experience providing technical support
- Experience providing hardware, software, and network support
- Demonstratable experience troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Able to communicate technical lingo to non-technical colleagues
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices
- A positive and proactive approach to workload
