2nd Line Service Desk Engineer
My client, an established Manged Service Provider based in Oxford, are looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to join their rapidly growing team. As a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer, you will be responsible for handling support and repair tickets from clients and managing and maintaining client's infrastructure and cloud services.
Salary: Up to 35,000
Duties:
- Provide remote support to clients, troubleshooting software issues via telephone and email
- Checking and resolving backup issues
- Building and deploying workstations and servers
- Managing repairs in workshop from PCs, Servers, Macs, and any other IT equipment.
Key skills:
- Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Office 365
- Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- SaaS and Cloud based services
- Backup software
- MDM
Beneficial skills:
- Cyber Essentials certifications
- Azure

- Cat5e/Cat 6 cabling
- RMM Software
