2Nd Line Support Technician

Our client, based locally, is searching for a confident 2nd Line Technician, ready to take their career to new heights. Joining the fast-paced world of an MSP, your role will include a variety of technical tasks, as well as delivering high level customer service directly to clients and through IT channels. Are you ready for the next step? The Role: Uphold excellent customer service standards, taking ownership of support queries and fostering strong customer relationships. Act as a 2nd point of contact for phone calls, emails and tickets from customers regarding IT issues, incidents and requests. Collaborate on projects and assist with new customer onboarding as needed.What You'll Bring: Minimum of 2-3 years experience within an MSP or similar environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows technologies (e.g., Active Directory), server management (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, Dell), virtual desktop infrastructure (e.g., Citrix, RDS), networking (e.g., switches, firewalls), and backups (e.g., Veeam, off-site). Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to occasionally work overtime as required in the IT field.
