South Downs National Park Authority is one ofEngland’s newest National Park and sits in a beautiful part ofSouthern England.
An opportunity has arisen to join theDevelopment Management Support Team. The role will be challenging andvaried, dealing with the technical and administrative aspects ofprocessing planning applications from receipt to archiving, assistingwith systems development for planning software and providing helpdesksupport to partner authorities who process case work on behalf ofSouth Downs National Park.
You will have excellent customerservice skills and the drive to achieve the high standards expectedin order to support professional planning officers. The ability towork in a team is essential as well as a proven ability to workefficiently and accurately under pressure within statutory andperformance led timescales. You must be self-motivated and be able touse your own initiative.
Experience of Planning or a relateddiscipline and excellent IT skills are essential.
