Our Specialist Logistics operation provides a nationwide service, a two-man crew direct to business-to-business customers. Typical jobs involve delivering & installing vending machines, coffee machines, refridgeration, medical equipment & other sicentific equipment.
We are expanding our operation and seeking to employ 3.5t Luton van drivers, an average of 50-55 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Based out of our Bristol depot BS15 4TA routes and work area would be planned to cover predominately the South-west of England and Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a progressive, growing company.
You will be comfortable with early starts (6 am) and long days.
You will need to be physically fit, as you are expected to load and offload yourself.
Honesty, integrity, and reliability are key.
Immediate start available for the right candidate - a competitive rate of pay at £12.25 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as tow trucks or tractor-trailers is a plus
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and forklift and stair walker operation is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
