As a 3.5t Van Driver / Relocation Operative, you will play a crucial role in our operations. This physically demanding role requires you to load and unload your vehicle, lead, manage, and motivate small to large teams, and relocate and install lab equipment, office furniture, and other items internally or to new premises, recycling centres, or storage facilities.
Various contracted hours are available with a minimum of 27 each week, each day spanning 9 hours and can include weekend working. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and that's why we provide your work schedule 2 weeks in advance. This allows you to plan your time effectively and ensure that your work fits seamlessly into your life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Driving rigid commercial vehicles up to 3.5t
- Leading, managing, and motivating teams
- Loading, unloading, and relocating lab equipment, office furniture, and other items
- Managing small moves and deliveries
- Ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements
- Promoting company core standards and values
- Assisting in managing external contractors
- Educating, training, and developing team members
ABOUT YOU
- Educated to O Level or GCSE equivalent (preferred)
- Full UK driver's license
- Willingness to work over a 7 day rota per week
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
