3Rd Line It Engineer

We are working with a growing MSP who are seeking a 3rd Line Engineer to join their growing team. Working on a mix of BAU and project work this is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience at a 3rd Line level to a join a leading business.
Working with the latest Modern Workplace technologies and the opportunity to obtain key certification they place a real emphasis on upskilling their people.
Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the final point of escalation for technical issues, providing expert guidance and support to resolve complex problems.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for innovative solutions to enhance our service offerings.

• Modern Workplace environments, including Windows 10, Intune, Autopilot and Azure AD
• Public cloud hosting Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019
• Office 365 and Exchange Online
• MS Exchange Server 2013 / 2016
• Networking LAN, WAN, firewalls
• Wireless networks
• Virtualisation VMware / Hyper-V
• Thorough understanding of Information Security best practices
• Understanding of ITIL best practices
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, ITIL) are a plus.
