VIQU are seeking a 3 rd Line IT Engineer to join a multinational IT business that specialise in providing a broad spectrum of IT services and solutions, from IT consulting and system integrations to cloud services and e-commerce solutions.
As a 3 rd Line IT Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering advanced technical assistance to clients, ensuring the swift handling of incidents, service requests, and updates. Acting as a key escalation point for lower-tier support, you'll maintain effective communication channels.
Requirements of the 3 rd Line IT Engineer:
- Minimum 2+ years as a 3rd Line technical support in an MSP.
- Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and networking (DNS, DHCP, switches, routers).
- Expertise in Wintel environment and Windows desktop operating systems.
- Proven experience with core Infrastructure technologies, including Terminal Services, IIS, SharePoint, firewalls, databases, backup, and security software.
- Good knowledge of VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Ability to excel in a busy helpdesk environment.
