SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team at SDC Transport. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations using a 7.5tonne curtain side . This is a commercial driving position that requires a valid driver's license and Cpc license.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a 7.5tonne truck to deliver goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as a commercial driver
- Ability to safely operate the vehicle and properly secure cargo
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor when interacting with clients
This job is on a self employed basis.

Salary: £500.00 per week
