Hours of work: 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday
Job type: Immediate start. Temporary with possible opportunity of a permanent role
Gi Group are recruiting for a 7.5t Driver to work in Crawley area
Roles & Responsibilities:
* You will start your day by sorting the parcels you will be delivering
* While most of your day will be spent driving, part of your role will also include loading and unloading your vehicle with parcels weights of up to 30KG
* You will be collecting and delivering parcels from local businesses and distribution centres
* Using a hand-held scanner, you will be following a delivery schedule so the ability to follow detailed instructions is a key skill
Requirements:
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible, friendly and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* We are looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
* A maximum of 6 points on your licence
* You must hold a valid C1 / 7.5t driving licence, a digital tachocard and a valid CPC qualification card
* You must be able to provide various documents as GI Group will complete the security checks listed below.
* Right to Work in the UK
* DVLA Driving Licence Check
* DBS Criminal Record Check
