As an Activities Unit Manager (AUM) for Industries, the job holder is responsible for all activities within the Industrial Workshops and land based areas of the establishment. This can range from large manufacturing workshops for the textiles, engineering and woodwork sectors, to production workshops for the printing and contract service sectors.
The Industries Manager (IM) is the coordinating link between Instructional Officers (IOs), prison senior management, Head Quarters (Prison Industries) and the representing unions.
