We are seeking an AAT Trainee to join a well established accountancy firm. As an AAT Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills to pursue a career in accounting and finance. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to kick-start their career in the field.
Duties
- Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as data entry and bookkeeping
- Supporting senior accountants in preparing financial statements and reports
- Assisting with VAT returns and other related tax returns
- Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Educated to ‘A’ Level/GNVQ (or equivalent)
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Mathematics, minimum grade 6 (B), and English minimum grade 4/5 (C) or above
- Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willing to study for AAT qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
Please note that this is an entry-level position, although candidates iwth some bookkeeping experience will be considered. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in the field of accounting. Training will be provided to help you develop the necessary skills for success.
