This is an exciting new role in the Group Financial Crime Team for LSEG based at our London Headquarters.
We are building out our capabilities in this area as our business evolves and this is a fantastic opportunity for an ABC and Fraud professional to shape the future of ABC and Fraud risk management at a global organisation.
The role will report to the Head of ABC and Fraud and is within LSEG’s Legal and Compliance 2LOD Function.
Role Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities –
  • Support the development and implementation of ABC and Fraud target operating models
  • Lead any identified remediation activity
  • Lead on the production and presentation of ABC and Fraud Management Information
  • Support the maintenance and update of relevant policies, procedures and standards
  • Deliver ABC and Fraud awareness training as required to a range of partners and functions
  • Provide ABC and Fraud compliance advisory support to LSEG to able to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and legal requirements
  • Provide ABC and Fraud input to wider LSEG Financial Crime projects including Third Party Risk Management
  • Work with Compliance Assurance and Monitoring to help deliver its plan and identify emerging risk, including conducting fieldwork, analysing findings, assessing controls and producing reports for management with recommendations
  • Engage with colleagues across the Compliance function and act as initial escalation point for queries across the Group on ABC and Fraud
  • Undertake Financial Crime Investigations from outset to conclusion and provide ABC and Fraud support to the Financial Crime Intelligence Unit
  • Develop expert knowledge and expertise, keeps abreast of the impact of the latest regulatory developments in that area; effectively acting as a business partner.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external partners, globally and regionally
Qualifications & Experience –
  • Degree or equivalent and / or relevant Financial Crime professional qualification
  • Previous related experience
  • Significant knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal requirements across ABC and Fraud
  • Awareness of applicable regulatory and legal requirements across Financial Crime including Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Tax Evasion and Terrorist Financing
  • Financial crime practitioner or SME as appropriate to role with experience of working in 2LOD
  • Report writing
  • Experience of undertaking Financial Crime investigations / willingness to develop investigative skills
