We have a great opportunity for someone to work as a Regional Senior Manager of Lending Fraud in a newly formed Lending Fraud Specialist team within Wholesale Credit Risk Management to help the Bank combat, reduce losses and raise awareness around First Party Lending fraudulent conduct. Within your role, you will be required to perform reviews of customers that are escalated from the Wholesale Business or Wholesale Credit Risk Management and in addition perform reviews on a pro-active basis identifying any First Party Lending Fraud risk.
The role involves having regional view to develop and raise awareness in your region. You will build relationships, set up networks and provide training across Wholesale Credit Risk Management. The opportunity, based in the UK, will cover one of two regions MENAT & Europe or the UK, LATAM & US.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Regional Senior Manager of Lending Fraud.
In this role, you will:
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in the region, consider regional first party lending risks and design and perform proactive reviews.
- Perform Lending Fraud risk assessments for complex Credit risk exposures where red flags for first party Lending Fraud have been identified.
- Assist in developing industry-leading practices for the forensic assessment of Lending Fraud risks across the largest corporate counterparties in the Bank’s wholesale portfolio.
- Deliver assessment reports on major companies with a specific scope to assess potential Lending Fraud risk indicators, through detailed forensic review of accounts and transactions.
- Articulate the nature of concern, discussing with senior management and influencing key decisions within the lending lifecycle.
