You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing the budget, and providing financial insights to support the decision making process.
This role will be on a fixed- term 36 month apprenticeship contract. It will be full time, Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week with day release one day per week to attend college to complete a level 7 ACCA Apprenticeship.
This is a perfect opportunity to make a step up from your AAT qualification or any experience with accounting and bookkeeping.
ACCA Apprentice Management Accountant responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial results.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and enhancing efficiency.
- Proven experience in accounting or financial roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
