About the opportunity: As we embark on our final season at Goodison Park and enter a new chapter in our history, we have a brand new, exciting role for a Accessibility Lead to join our Stadium Operations team and take ownership of the wide-ranging accessibility offerings and facilities at our new home, Everton Stadium.
As Accessibility Lead you get to play a vital part in the development of our accessibility operational policies and plans as we work towards being ready to operate at Everton Stadium. You will oversee the allocation of appropriate seating during the sales window and thereafter, the management of all onsite and offsite parking available to disabled supporters, the management of pre-booked accessibility matchday shuttle bus services and the management of facilities such as the Sensory Room, Sensory Box, Quiet Rooms etc.

Working hand in hand with the Stadium Operations and Fan Centre teams, with the main focus being Everton Stadium, you will be deliver expert advice and guidance, alongside contributing to the development and implementation of strategic policies, practices, and action plans.

You will function as the Club’s Disability Access Officer, supporting the provision of inclusive, accessible facilities and services, and will work closely with the Disability Liaison Officer to assist with queries from disabled supporters throughout the season, and on matchdays, non-matchdays and other event days. In adopting this element of the role, you will celebrate the very best of Everton Football Club’s traditions and values in managing the front-line relationship between the Club and our disabled supporters.

You will collaborate with other stakeholders across the Club to ensure we’re fully inclusive and accessible across all Club sites.

Who we are looking for: We are searching for a forward thinking, confident, enthusiastic, collaborative, determined and personable professional, who demonstrates a desire to embrace merging concepts and technologies, whilst marrying these with existing good practice and relationships with our fans.
Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of UK Accessibility Stadia legislation (including but not limited to Green Guide, Purple Guide, Premier League, Level Playing Field etc.), UEFA accessibility guidance and full knowledge of the Equity Act. of delivering EDI interventions and influencing positive change via a range of stakeholders and collaborating with the disabled community, providing support and advice to organisations around accessibility.

Interpersonal and influencing skills are essential and being able to inspire and drive delivery across a wide range of E&D areas.

This position is on a permanent contract working 35 hours per week.

The location for this role is within our Club’s iconic headquarters in the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool, with the opportunity to work flexibly with our Hybrid working approach.
