A Leading national independent provider of IT related products, is looking for an AAT level 3 qualified Accounts Assistant to join it small but growing team based in Cannock. They are a fast-paced office with a high level of customer activity, and this is an ideal role for someone who want to grow with the role.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a wide-ranging Accounts Assistant role, spanning all aspects of the company’s day-to-day operational accounts and associated transactional services to customers and suppliers.
Key Duties
- Invoicing, cash flow, asset inventory and management, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting at month end and year end.
- Sales Ledger management.
- Purchase Ledger management.
- Credit Control
- Maintain accurate records of all communication and payment arrangements.
- Financial analysis
- Submit payroll information such as commissions, expenses to our payroll provider.
- To build strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Ad hoc support to other members of the admin team
Experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a similar role.
- AAT 3 qualified
- Excellent IT skills and highly proficient in the use of MS Excel, including the use of formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
- Working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-moving SME business-to-business environment.
- Skilful in efficiently handling large workloads to meet deadlines.
