Our client are a leading UK wide manufacturing business based in the Washington area. They are looking to recruit a Account Controller/Client co-odinator on a permanent basis.
The contracted hours of work are 39 hours per week.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Maintain the smooth running of steel supply to Customers
- Ensure material is ready for customer order dates and request any material required to cover orders from stock control
- Raise job cards for requirements up to 2 weeks ahead for planner.
- Check customer schedules up to 6 weeks ahead (weekly) to ensure supply is covered.
- Daily calls with customers and suppliers, to ensure relationships are maintained and deadlines are met
- Place orders with suppliers.
- Monitoring daily delivery performance.
- Answer general customer queries/issues over the telephone or email in a timely manner
Skills & Experience Required for the role:
- Good GCSE grades with a minimum grade C in English and Math s
Experience of dealing with large customers preferable and tight deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and plan ahead and meet targets
- Good IT skills using Microsoft packages Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Work ethic - Possesses a strong willingness to work hard to get the job done.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various levels and deal with conflicting situations
The current salary range is GBP25,000 based on 39 hours per week.
