The purpose of the role is to deliver outstanding and profitable work for clients via innovative and ambitious integrated campaigns, whilst managing a high performing team to do the same.
Main Areas of Responsibility & Accountability
- Takes ownership of the commercial delivery for their designated clients
- Owns senior day to day management of clients and agency contacts to ensure work is to an excellent standard and relationship is collaborative and fruitful
- Challenges and probes client briefs, ensuring the team has complete clarity on client objectives and delivers key creative and strategic input
- Create talent led marketing for clients and deliver award winning work with scale and ambition
- Lead creative and innovative RFPs
- Leads (with support of AM) on negotiation of contracts with external stakeholders, together with development of scope of work and fee remuneration negotiations with clients
- Clear understanding on status of bookings and forecasts.
- Owns team processes and ensures these are reviewed and improved regularly
- Lead a highly motivated, creative and operationally excellent team
- Directs, mentors and nurtures their team
Knowledge & Skills
- Detailed cross media knowledge
- Experience of running a team
- Client and project management
- Clear understanding of role of content and media to solve a client business challenge
- Negotiation skills and commercial understanding (inc legal, contracts etc)
Experience & Qualifications
- Circa 5+ years experience in content, planning, implementation, client servicing fields
- Development and activation of content/ partnerships / sponsorship across multiple media disciplines
- Management of team of 2+ people
