Sue Ross Recruitment are working with a leading media company in the recruitment of an Account Director.
In this role you will own, manage and build development plans for your client list – many of whom are leading national and international brands – mostly within the high street retail and hospitality sector.
The Account Director is the most senior level of principle contact for their clients, representing the mutual interests of the company and the client to achieve profitable delivery for both parties. Their interaction provides the first and lasting impressions that they make with their clients. The role has 6 key focuses:
- Providing exceptional service: maintaining and developing relationships with their largest and most prestigious clients (via meetings, telephone calls and e-mails by understanding the client’s needs and reflecting those needs to the business) as well as to new clients.
- Retention: the maintenance of long lasting and mutually successful partnerships with ALL clients. Completion of all interim contract renewal negotiations.
- Organic growth: Ensuring they offer the optimum portfolio of goods and/or services through understanding the client’s requirements and strategy. Anticipating where they can support them with additional innovation.
- Understanding the full business and brand needs of their clients with a broad network of contacts within their business.
- Being the eyes and ears of the business. Reporting back opportunities for development and/or service improvement. Feeding back competitor information and market intelligence or new business leads.
- Working collaboratively within our business to ensure seamless service for each client.
