We're on the lookout for a motivated Account Executive to join our industry-leading client based in Aldermaston.
This exciting opportunity is offering a salary of 26-30k pa, hybrid working and a clear career progression pathway right up to senior account management. As a member of the account management team that handles one of our client's key accounts - a successful, prestigious, well-known global company - you will ensure the seamless delivery of products to this customer's many global locations! Some national and international travel is occasionally needed to visit customer sites.
Due to our client's location, you must be a driver and have access to your own transport.
As an Account Executive you will enjoy:
• Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch break) and 9am - 4.30pm on a Friday with a half hour lunch break
• Competitive salary of 26 - 30k pa + discretionary 10% bonus based on personal KPIs and company profits
• Hybrid work pattern - 2 days in the office/3 days working from home each week (but flexible if you prefer to be 100% office based)

As an Account Executive you will be:
• Contacting existing customers to understand needs and requirements and upselling solutions
• Supporting the Senior Corporate Account Manager on all corporate account activities
• Closing sales and achieving quarterly, 6 monthly and annual sales targets
• Co-ordinating with Demand Planning and Customer Service on stock related, delivery and order processing queries
• Maintaining excellent relationships with existing customers via courtesy calls, order tracking etc
• Administering order/ pricelist forms, forecast forms, handover forms, including internal communication
• Scheduled reporting as requested by Senior Corporate Account Managers using Excel
• Attending client meetings as required and participating in Customer Roadshows as required
To succeed as an Account Executive you will need:
• Demonstrable customer service or account management experience
• Commercially astute and able to spot and deliver upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Excellent communication skills via phone and email; excellent grammar and spelling ability
• Highly organised and able to think proactively to avoid potential problems or issues
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vLookups
• A confident, friendly personality together with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
• The ability to deal with demanding clients and handle issues or complaints in a professional, polite manner
