Are you ready to start a new chapter in your life? Robert Walters is currently working with a leading accountancy firm in Reading who are looking for a talented Payroll Executive to join their friend team. They aim to create a place of work where everyone is valued, can flourish, and achieve their full potential.
The Payroll Executive will be responsible for:
- Processing, owning, and completing regular client payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly, or monthly basis.
- Managing payroll deadlines and requirements for a personal portfolio of payroll clients.
- Working as part of a team to provide excellent service to multiple clients.
- Assisting the Payroll Manager with system development and testing of system upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Extensive experience in running payrolls from start to finish including all statutory calculations, RTI, and year-end. Experience in a multi-payroll environment or experience within professional practice is an advantage.
- You must be hands-on, proactive, with attention to detail, someone who can create a process and then drive it forward.
- Experience of IRIS Payroll Professional would be an advantage, as training will be given.
- Relevant payroll qualifications preferred (e.g., CIPP) but not essential. Applications from those with good hands-on and relevant experience will also be welcomed.
