My client is one of Northern Ireland’s largest CommercialInsurance Brokers with an enviable record of providing a first class andtailored service at a local level, whilst also being a key provider as part of aGlobal Insurance Brand.
Due to continued successes they seek to recruit three full-timepermanent Account Handlers to facilitate planned growth across the organisation.As part of the Broking Team you will provide support to our Account Executives whoservice our clients’ commercial portfolios.
-Be the first point of contactfor day-to-day enquiries from clients, insurers, internal staff and external providers.
-Support your AccountExecutives through the smooth running of assigned portfolio on a day-to-daybasis.
-Provide a proactiveprofessional telephone handling service.
-Develop professionalrelationships with clients and insurers at all levels.
-Maintain client records anddata in line with agreed protocols, knowledge of the Acturis insurance platformwould be desirable, (training provided).
-Prepare template clientreports as requested by Account Executive.
-Resolve any identifieddiscrepancies in provider documentation before sending to clients.
-Periodically attend clientmeetings with the Account Executive/Account Handler Team.
Applicant should have a backgroundin Commercial Insurance - either as an Insurer or Broker. Candidates who have2+ years’ experience of Insurance Admin, Personal Lines, Customer Service orSales may also be considered.
As a natural communicator youwill use your interpersonal skills and self-confidence to proactively buildrelations with stakeholders over the phone or via email. As a team player will useyour initiative, influence and negotiation skills to be a problem solver. Youwill have excellent organisational skills with the ability to work underpressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, whilemaintaining attention to detail.
Career progression istaken seriously and will be provided through in-house training/mentoringprogramme. Building on your commercial knowledge and awareness you will be trained on leadinginsurance systems and gain access to unique/specialist insurances.
My client is offering an Attractive Starting Salary toreflect your skills, experience and capability, (Negotiable). Opportunity toearn team/company bonuses and commission. Office Hours are Monday to Friday 9amto 5pm (1 hour lunch). HYBRID OPTION is 3days in office and 2 days work from home, flexibility offered. Company pension,26 days holiday plus 11 stat days, Company sick pay. Smart offices with freeparking based in East Belfast. Other sites may be available across NI.
