I am working with a local manufacturing business located in the Wolverhampton area, they are now seeking an experienced Account Manager to add to their team of existing professionals. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collate with the production expeditor to dispatch weekly order book updates to customers as necessary
- Monitor all communications between customers and production for quotes and projects for all other clients. Ensure timely receipt of responses and escalate if necessary
- Conduct follow up on quotations to expedite progress
- Be the point of contact for designated key accounts, handling the quotation process and addressing all queries
- Review contracts within the organisation to achieve specified turnaround times
- Input all purchase orders and generate paperwork within a set timeframe
Experience:
- Must be highly skilled in managing email correspondence
- Must have exceptional customer service abilities, particularly when working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Keen focus on detail when handling administrative duties
- Desirable to have experience in the Manufacturing/Engineering industry
- Must have at least two years experience in a customer service role
