SalaryJoin an entity of a large PE backed services organisation, seeking a Management Accountant - excellent opportunity for a part qualified accountant who is actively studying!
A newly created Management Accounts position has become available within a multi-site services business based in Birmingham; reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will take ownership of one entity T/O over 100mil per annum. Gaining a full overview of the business, with an element of business partnering. Salary on offer 40,000 + studies.
The ideal candidate will be actively studying; eager to progress with proven experience improving processes and implementing new procedures.
What to expect as the Management Accountant
- Weekly cash flow forecasting
- Maintain the fixed asset and stock register
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Analyse financial performance against budget and flash, identify variances and opportunities for improvements
- Group reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with year end audit
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis
Key requirements:
- Part qualified accountant (actively studying)
- Excellent and data manipulation skills
- previous experience as a Management Accountant in a fast paced environment
- Ambitious with a strong commercial acumen and proven business partnering skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
