As the successful Account Manageryou will be dedicated to running all MOD contracts and being the focal contact point for the customer. Providing high quality and responsive customer service, purchase and repair administrative and technical query support to Military customers.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Administration of customer repairs both in our repair facility and subcontracted.
- Obtain pricing information from the supplier base with supporting paperwork and load into ERP system.
- Raise Purchase Orders and maintain the ERP system with the current status and expected delivery dates
- Raise Repair Orders and maintain the ERP system with the current status and expected delivery dates
- Provide high quality customer service to all customers.
- Quoting and pricing of repairs or sale of other goods and services.
- Completing approved certificates, despatch, and invoice.
- Customer delivery forecasts, reports and general enquiries.
- Maintain and improve TAT (turn-around-time), quality and cost effectiveness.
To be successful in this role of Account Managerwe would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Degree level standard or equivalent or proven industry Military experience
- Previous experience in managing UK MOD contracts.
- Previous experience in an office based commercial environment
- Experience in a Purchasing environment - Desirable
- Experience of working in the aviation industry - Desirable
