Our client based in Glasgow City Centre, are looking for an Account Manager to join their busy office. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with existing clients and also business development to grow these existing accounts. This is a very fast paced role, working to tight deadlines and high volume questions/queries from clients. Account management, business development and admin skills are all essential skillsets for this role. To find out more please read below….
Key Responsibilities
- Managing existing accounts and building relationships
- Develop and grow existing accounts to expand portfolio
- Daily admin to make sure all accounts are up to date
- Liaise with clients, colleagues and suppliers on a daily basis
- Meeting clients and suppliers face to face and over the phone
- Comfortable delivering presentations to clients
- Strong negotiation skills
- Understanding customer needs
- Deliver to specified deadlines
- Daily admin to deliver clients expectations
- Keep in close contact with suppliers and specific needs
- Effectively manage and control all orders to ensure each customer's expectations are met and exceeded each time
- Produce reports and status sheets on a daily/weekly/monthly basis or as required
