Management Accountant- Central Government-SC Security Clearance

Management Accountant, ideally with current SC Security Clearance or have the ability to undergo clearance is required to work for our central government client.

The Management Account will be tasked with completing financial processes to produce the monthly management accounts whilst supporting the Finance Business Partners (FBPs) in the production of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting for the operational delivery areas.

Management Accountant- Central Government-SC Security Clearance- Essential experience

• Newly qualified (Management) accountant or equivalent demonstrable experience;
• Experience of operating in a project accounting environment
• Ability to develop and deliver the full suite of monthly MI reports
• Experience of carrying out continuous reviews of working practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost effective operations.
• Capability to work with a Fixed Asset accountant to ensure the fixed asset verification is completed in a timely manner.
• Current SC Security Clearance or the ability to undergo clearance by being a British citizen or hold dual nationality, and have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last five years

Management Accountant- Central Government-SC Security Clearance- Desirable Experience

• Familiarity of Principle and Governance of managing Public Money;
• Experience of working in Public Sector Finance;
• Experience of Oracle Fusion/Cloud

The role is outside of IR35 and requires working 3 days per week on site in Milton Keynes.

6 month initial contract.
