Management Accountant (Accounts Senior) - Practice to Industry Opportunity
As the Management Accountant (Accounts Senior) you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations for clients within the portfolio as well as for our Client themselves. You will collaborate closely with their clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional financial support and reporting.
Reporting directly to the COO, the Management Accountant (Accounts Senior) will be the first hire into a growing Finance department and will be an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented finance individual to take ownership of, lead and eventually grow the critical finance function with support from the CEO.
Management Accountant (Accounts Senior) Qualifications and Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance role, preferably managing multiple clients
* An understanding of accounting principles, and experience with month end processing, management accounts and financial reporting
* Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Xero, Microsoft Excel, Float).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management and record-keeping.
* Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time management skills.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Management Accountant (Accounts Senior) Key Responsibilities
Financial Administration:
* Process and manage the finance functions for both our client and their diverse client portfolio.
Financial Reporting:
* Be responsible for the month-end close process for portfolio clients and our Client.
Budgets & Forecasts:
* Assist in the creation of annual budgets liaising directly with the Clients
Client and Portfolio Support:
* Act as a point of contact for our start-up clients, addressing their financial needs and queries
