This is a full-time role based in the UK with flexible work-from-home options.

Our customers and partners include government departments, industry associations, corporations and businesses. We are a highly successful global software business with customers and partners in APAC, UK and Ireland.

We are a small to medium sized business experiencing unprecedented growth and looking for an experienced Account Manager to support existing customers and build the client base. You will be working collaboratively with the CEO and the senior executive to drive your success in the role.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing best-in-class account and relationship management.
  • Manage existing customer accounts, support software deployment and upselling new PowerHouse products and services.
  • Complete training to become a PowerHouseUpskill product expert and understand our training-based workforce solutions.
  • Deliver professional product demonstrations to potential customers and Sales partners.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales and expanding existing accounts.
  • Managing pipeline development through a combination of existing customers, warm leads, referrals, cold calling, social media campaigns and market sector knowledge.
  • Engage with and leverage internal and external resources to assist with sales cycle stages.
  • Create and maintain your own demo site to support your product demonstrations as part of the sales process.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records or all interactions, deliverables and forecasting using the CRM.
  • Provide after sales support and account management (non-technical) to your clients to ensure they derive value from their subscription.
  • Define and implement go-to-market strategies to generate short and long-term customer success and business results.
  • Work autonomously to meet your quotas, supported by the Executive team, along with Product and Support teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • The ability to manage engagement with multiple prospects and client projects simultaneously.
  • An ability to understand customer needs and create an appropriate proposal to support the sales process.
  • Experience in forecasting sales and managing the sales funnel to close.
  • Proven track record of success in building customer relationships.
  • Ability to use, learn and understand SaaS technology platforms.
  • You bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
  • 5+ years of account management and software sales experience.
  • A proven track record in achieving on-target sales to achieve commission.
  • Previous experience in SaaS account management or strategy strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The salary is commensurate with experience. The package includes a good base salary and a high commission scheme.
