We are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join their busy, successful, and growing team.

Account Manager

Scotland region - working from home with travel to client sites

£45-55K plus monthly commission, annual bonus, car, fuel card and excellent benefits

To be successful in this role:

You will be a confident and strategic thinking Regional Business Manager / Account Manager with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of building a strong customer portfolio, and a proven track record of driving sales and business growth. Other requirements for this role include:

  • A technical background within electronic or electromechanical, possibly a Sales Engineer who has moved into Account Management
  • Ability to communicate at all levels from CTO through to Engineers
  • Ability to work in tandem with design engineers to create a solution
  • Excellent presentation skills and able to articulate why their solution is the best way to move forward
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to identify and build on new opportunities
  • Goal led and focused on driving results
  • Enthusiasm to develop and learn
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed
  • Computer literacy
  • Must be comfortable in a working from home environment

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Regional Business Manager / Account Manager, you will be working from home and responsible for overseeing and managing business sales operations within a designated region in Scotland. Other responsibilities for this working from home role include:

  • Develop and implement regional business strategies aligned with overall company objectives through building a pipeline of customers within Scotland
  • Work to generating face to face meetings each week to establish connections with key decision makers to be able to showcase product, versatility and quality of product
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
  • Create and execute plans to move into new markets and expand the customer base
  • Lead and motivate a high-performance sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue goals
  • Working with customers on their requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and maximize profitability
  • Providing data and reports on your customer portfolio to management
  • Foster a collaborative and positive working environment that encourages innovation and excellence
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance products and services
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility
