Account Manager
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing distribution company, supplying the known retail channels, based in Andover. This is a full time in the office Monday to Friday, some field work and travel may be required.
The ideal candidate would have an excellent attention to detail, able to provide an excellent customer service as well as generating revenue through sourcing and converting leads.
Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
- Assist customers with any enquiries and recommendations.
- Follow up leads and create key business relationships with the aim to convert into a sale
- Provide quotations and ensure the follow up process is in place.
- Support the Directors and Sales Manager with key accounts.
- Process orders ensuring all details are processed correctly.
- Provide regular updates to the customer through the whole supply process and confirm ETA of the items
- Ensure all upselling and cross selling opportunities are undertaken.
- Increase product ranges revenue on existing customer portfolios.
- Ensure online product and information is up to date.
Requirments:
- At least two years within an account managing or sales support role
- Keen interest and a strong drive in sales and business development
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven experience of building strong client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills and ability
The Account Manager Role:
- Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
- £25,000 - £30,000 staring salary
- Commission scheme
- Staff discount
- 20 days holiday, rising 1 per completed year of service, plus bank holidays
