Form of workOur client have a presence around the globe and work within water, wastewater and process challenges within industries including Power, Pharmaceutical, O&G, Chemicals, to name a few. Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to work within Speciality Water and Process Chemicals in the Lincolnshire and Humber region.
As Account Manager you will maintain and develop client relationships, demonstrating system knowledge, effective contract management of existing accounts and generation of new sales. You will be selling, demonstrating and promoting our range of specialty water and process chemicals and monitoring technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Working with customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs
- Develop and execute customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity, from generating quotes to processing PO’s.
- Manage customer satisfaction and escalate customer concerns for resolution.
- Coordinate support resources to maintain and grow existing and win / close new accounts.
- Participate in plant visits, audit/survey and any trial working. Where required, conduct appropriate water analysis/testing and report.
- Maintain the integrity of strategies and implementation of sales / marketing programs to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Candidates will hold a Degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies
- Demonstrate excellent project management experience and a track record of exceeding targets.
- Your background will be Account Management or sales in a water/process treatment company or industrial plant.
- Proven experience in value delivery and selling strategies, winning new accounts and developing markets
- A UK driving licence is a must
