Position: Account Manager (Packaging)
Location: Remote role with 75% travel (Residing in the Midlands area would be beneficial)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

In this role you will become the SME for our packaging offering, and you will be responsible for creating commercial benefit from the efficient supply of consumables. DHL has created In-Trade, an exciting digital platform, to make it easier for sites to manage their consumables and you will aid in rolling this out.
You will be responsible for creating commercial benefit from the efficient supply of consumables through the platform. You will also manage the introduction of new product and new suppliers with the site, from initial concept through to signed off design and artwork etc, whilst also helping manage any problems that occur with supply.
Most importantly you will be an advocate for a better way of doing things, sustainability, innovation, digitalisation and automation!
What are the Key accountabilities in this role?
- Identify and deliver profitable growth for In-Trade through optimising solutions at sites.
- Develop effective relationships with key account contacts and customer teams.
- Ensure customers receive timely response to queries and provide appropriate and compliant services.
- Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
- Use In-Trade systems to record customer requests and produce data reports from customers using data system and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with internal functions that support the customer satisfaction and growth processes (Solution Design, Operations, HR, IT, Real Estate, Legal/Finance etc), to gather information and coordinate actions to support bid submissions.
- Work closely with the customer operations team (ensure quality, compliance, improve performance) and deliver positive renewal strategies and results.
- Act as an escalation point and work timely and effectively to resolve customer queries - finding and fixing the root cause.
- Collect customer feedback and participate face to face in internal and customer reviews.
- Deliver project implementation and budget management processes as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities for increasing services to customers.
- Support customer retention by providing excellent service and delighting customers.

- Experience of working within Operations or Account Management
- Customer facing experience
- Customer relationship management exposure
- Experience within the Packaging industry - Desirable
- Strong Problem solving skills
- Administrative and systems operative skills
