Our client, a market leading specialist in their field has a phenomenal opportunity to join them as an Account Manager. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Key Accounts with the purpose of retaining and growing these customers through strategic development and building long lasting relationships. You will achieve growth from proactively cross selling additional products and services using consultative selling. Occasional travel may be required for client site visits

Main duties and responsibilities:
- Create and operate to a robust business plan in alignment with the Company's aims.
- Using business plan to prioritise and actively re-negotiate lapsed contracts and set up new contracts where no agreement is in place.
- Implement strategies with support from the After Sales Manager for new services and products as well as analysing business needs and seeking new opportunities for growth.
- Conduct strategic account reviews to drive growth and profitability.
- Managing the delivery of projects to agreed deadlines.
- Addressing client concerns and handling calls that require manager involvement.
- Be responsible for a key accounts to maintain and increase the contract revenue and profitability of accounts
- Managing supplier relationships specific to your accounts
- Weekly reporting to your manager on sales activity, key customer advancements, aged debt and updated pipeline opportunities.
- Achievement of set individual quarterly sales targets.
- Understand client needs and how we can assist in meeting their strategic goals using our proposed solutions.
- Monitor company service delivery to ensure this is consistent with contractual obligations.
- Build, develop and maintain productive and professional relationships with key decision makers in account base through regular communication and occasional meetings.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels that meet company standards.
- Work closely with other departments and divisions to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan and orchestrate regular promotional activity
Skills and Requirements:
- Self-motivated with the ability to maintain a positive and 'can do' approach
- Ability to establish, develop and maintain business relationships
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Strong communication/presentation skills to include relationship building, influencing and negotiation at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Professional demeanour and engaging interpersonal skills, incorporating the company values at all times
- Commercially astute with an eye for detail
- Experience in a fast paced environment with exceptional time management skills
- Previous industry experience would be an advantage but not essential
