Key responsibilities:
- All aspects of Accounting, such as; Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Execution of payments, including currency payments
- Weekly forecasting of cash flow
- Monthly journal entries
- Valuation of stock at month-end
- Preparation of month-end reports, including comprehensive management accounts
- Submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Handling prepayments and accruals
- Management of fixed asset register and depreciation calculations
- Computation and payment of corporation tax
- Payroll management
- Handling P11d returns and associated payments
- Processing end-of-year tasks
Skills required:
- Must have previous experience in an Accounting role
- Previous experience using SAGE50 and/or Sage Payroll is beneficial
- MAAT AATQB is highly beneficial
- Strong technical skills to include Excel
