Accountant

Search are delighted to be working with a forward looking organisation to support their search for a high level Accountant. This role will be responsible for delivering key strategic objectives and a leader on financial reporting. With excellent flexibility and working culture this role will suit an individual who is looking for a great team but happy to be challenged.

You'll be responsible for a small team and will provide them with your expert knowledge to help guide their growth within the organisation. You'll be capable of liaising with all levels of the business and providing reports for the senior management team.

Responsibilities:

• Support on corporate planning including the capital and treasury management strategy.
• Lead on process planning to facilitate requests and appraisals
• Create robust financial models for the appraisals
• Preparation of the 5 year capital plan
• Preparation of forecasting and report to the SLT
• Develop the cash flow and forecasting models
• Full oversight of the daily cash management
• Manage a small finance team

Person:

• Minimum AAT qualified, preferably CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE
• Strong financial modelling skills and knowledge of excel
• Knowledge of CAPEX reporting
• Strong knowledge of treasury management and key accounting principles
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong team leader

A great salary worth up to £47,500 + benefits including an exceptional pension (19.5%) and annual leave (37 days). A highly flexible working arrangement including flexible hours and a hybrid working model (1 day a week in the office).
