The Role: Financial Accountant

In this pivotal role, as a Financial Accountant, you will support on critical projects and make significant contributions to the success of our financial reporting team, especially during the year-end season. Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for controlling and confirming the monthly reporting of the international portfolio to Group reporting functions
• Review and document the differences between local international reporting GAAP and IFRS
• Maintain IFRS adjustments throughout the year for PIB’s consolidated accounts
• Support local international financial teams with accounting queries
• Analyse and investigate monthly balance sheet variance
• Work with external and internal audit as required around year end responsibilities and the control environment
• Review local statutory accounts to PIB Group financial statements to ensure the integrity of reported figures
• Work collaboratively across the Financial Control management team to deliver the wider business service

Experience:

• Qualified Accountant - CCAB, ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Oracle/NetSuite experience desirable 
• Experience working in a central finance function with international elements preferable within the financial services industry 
• Experienced in delivering monthly financial information 
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources 
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and influential approach to stakeholder management 
• Demonstrate strong problem solving ability and process improvement
