Part Time Financial Reporting Accountant

We are looking for a Part TimeFinancial Reporting Accountant, working closely with the Financial Reporting Manager to ensure accurate and timely Financial Reporting.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and from the office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review month-end financial reports, including reconciliations and analysis to ensure accuracy.
• Handle all intercompany accounting and reporting, ensuring no discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations for informed management decision-making.
• Complete and submit various National Statistics forms as required.
• Manage cash flow reporting, maintaining detailed logs of past and future cash flows, and updating forecasts weekly.
• Assist with processing urgent weekly ad-hoc payments.
• Ensure timely payment of employee salary deductions to appropriate bodies.
• Report company results via OneStream according to the monthly reporting calendar.
• Manage UK IFRS16 reporting requirements for operating lease contracts.
• Compile and enter forecasts and budgets into OneStream for holding companies.
• Assist in the wind-down of small UK/US subsidiaries.
• Compile data for tax returns and respond to queries from third-party tax consultants.
• Submit quarterly VAT returns and prepare annual statutory accounts for the whole company.
• Lead and manage the revenue side of the external audit process.

Requirements

• Essential Skills:
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Desirable Knowledge and Experience:
  • Knowledge of Onestream reporting
  • VAT and tax experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience of fixed asset accounting
• Qualifications:
  • Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA
